Decent day today, work went well as usual and had a nice half hour bike ride in the evening. I had the spark plugs and valve cover gasket replaced on my vehicle today as well, was somewhat expensive but well worth it in the long run to keep the car in proper working condition. That is one area I am trying to focus more on, keeping up with regularly schedule maintenance items for the car, home, and other items that I own so they will last. With the car, it is a 2016 model so it is now ten years old but since it is a Honda, I anticipate it to last for quite some time. I have had positive experiences with Hondas in the past and this one has been no different so far. My lawnmower is a Honda too and it has been quite durable and has lasted me for five years so far. I have been lax on the maintenance with it though but that will change. I will be replacing the blades first since they are dull and damaged and then some other items such as the oil and air filter will need attention. With paring down my items, I need to make sure the things I keep are well built and properly serviced and maintained so they don’t end up like every other piece of disposable junk that litters the market and will end up in a landfill.
