A package came today, something for the home that needed replacing but also with that item came an opportunity. The shipping box is now empty, it is a void that needs to be filled with something more. Another book, unread and only purchased because it came to me since I was a member of a signed editions club. A random novel that I did not read, only it sat on my shelf for three years and was a reminder of money spent in the past. Today it is going in the empty box along with some other articles of clothing from my family and will be taken for donation. I’m finding it quite liberating to be free of the items I have let go. Space opens up in my home and in my mind which leaves room for more important things to come in and also lets me cherish what I have more than I have in the past.
